Support

BRTT provides support to customers with maintenance contracts either directly via email to support@brtt.com or through the web support form.

Please be aware that BRTT bundles contributed software into releases. This contributed software is generously provided by the Antelope community. BRTT does not provide support for this software. You may contact the author, ask questions on the mailing list, or work directly with the source code to solve problems.

Patches may be downloaded directly, but should usually be downloaded and applied using the Antelope application antelope_update.



When submitting a support request, please help us provide a quick solution by providing detailed information. Remember that BRTT must be able to reproduce your problem in order to solve it. We need:

  • The exact command line
  • the input data
  • the exact output
  • what you expected

Please use the appropriate snapshot command (eg, rtsnapshot(1), dbsnapshot(1), dbloc_snapshot(1) or syssnapshot(1)) to gather other information which may be useful.

Effective problem reports are often time consuming and difficult. Please consult the man pages bugs(5) and reporting(5) for some guidelines.
